Hello hello! This is a continuation of this thread, but I didn't want all the information for this challenge to be spread out over a bunch of messages, so this will serve as the "central hub" of sorts for everything about this challenge! Anyways! This challenge, creatively named " Sparklepack.Board.Net December Prompt Challenge" is, as it says, a challenge to make something for a list of prompts. Any medium or endeavor is fine, as long as you can connect what you've made to the prompt (even if it doesn't seem obvious without knowing your thought process) it's good! Art, writing, collages, music, photography, playlists, crafting, mood boards, ETC. are all fine! Your also free to work ahead, I know the final month of the year can get a bit hectic! For this challenge you have the option between doing the prompts in the typical prompt list, which will have all 31 prompts listed, or do a bingo board! The bingo boards come in two sizes: 5x5 or 3x3! If you want a bingo board, you can fill one out yourself OR ask me to make one for you! If you have any prompts you would rather not do, list them clearly and I'll steer clear of them when making the board. Here's the prompt list: The prompts all written out will be bellow the cut here: 1. Winter Gear 2. Snow 3. Stars 4. Baking 5. Ice skating 6. Belief 7. Forest 8. Long nights 9. Gift-Giving 10. Joy 11.Snow Angels 12. Crafts 13. Bells 14. Wish 15. Reindeer 16. Music 17. Toys 18. Mountain 19. Ugly sweaters 20. Dreams 21. Keeping warm 22. Frozen 23.On the Rooftop 24. Penguin 25. Music 26. Snow storm 27. Blue 28. Sleep 29. Hot Drinks 30. Friends 31. New Years Eve!
Blank bingo boards are behind the follow spoiler: In January, you can report to me how many prompts you did for the challenge and I'll reward you with a customized award card! These will be given out for any accomplishment. (such as completing 10 of the prompt or a line in bingo. Even completing one of the prompts is enough to get an award!) The cards of course will be customized with your specific achievement and username, the following are just demos so you can see what they will look like! Your free to do whatever with your card once you get it. You may be wondering as to who the character that keep showing up is. That's Apricity, the mascot for this challenge! (Thank you Azure for the wonderful name for them!) Your free to use and draw them if you so wish to. As for posting what you've made, feel free to create your own thread OR post it here! You can also post your work to wherever else you wish! Thanks for reading all this, and I hope you enjoy the challenge! If you have any questions feel free to ask them here! And if you want to chat about what you're making or plans you have, feel free to chat about that here as well!

What the heck, why and HOW is it December already!!! (insert incoherent ramblings about time here) ...Anyways! I'm going to attempt to do the daily prompt listed here, although I suspect I definitely won't be able to making something for everyday (have I mentioned how much December has snuck up to me? haha) etc. etc. etc. I DO have something for today though! A drawing for prompt 1: Winter gear! Featuring Ankle Halifax and Ivy (Wyatt mason IV) from blaseball!

I skipped yesterday since I couldn't really come up with anything for "winter gear", but I created a snow-themed moodboard for today!

This is my poem called "My Body is a Forest" (for the prompt "forest")
I can feel deep within that my time is coming near My life is running out Death is almost here Despite this, I do not fear the end Through trees, moss, and flowers of all kinds My soul and vessel shall transcend
My bones sink into the ground And form the bark and branches of mighty oak Around my body, a ring of mushrooms will surround My blood will fill their stems and my flesh will feed the soil Through my demise, new life is born The true purpose behind my time on this mortal coil
Between the crevasses of my ribs, ivy shall grow Weaving and twisted through every open cage Inside my everlasting soul, a stream will flow My meat and muscles will allow the wildlife to feed Decay is a cycle that leads us to birth For a life to continue, one's end is what they need

Based on the prompt "joy", I've made a short playlist of songs that make me really happy! It's kinda a mess tonally, but my taste in music is pretty diverse.

This is a poem called "Used Toy".....obviously inspired by the prompt "toy"
In many ways, I am your toy I was crafted, molded, and built just for you I am your plaything, meant for your enjoyment alone Wherever you go, I'm going My will is in your hands
Shall we go on an adventure? Or find a new game to play? It's all up to you I don't like being dragged like that, but I won't complain Toys aren't built with tongues So in silence, I shall stay
For you, I shall be a noble knight And fight all your imaginary monsters away It hurts when you throw me against the wall But I can see you're having so much fun My arm has come off lose, but I promise I don't mind
Suddenly, I am in your box Years of waiting and collecting dust I'm sorry I couldn't keep your interest We all have to grow up sometime Why didn't they build me stronger

This poem's called "At The Top of the World" and inspired by the prompt "mountain"
My home is a mountain All the way up at the top of the world From here, I can see for miles Every piece of land on this earth I can hear every word, sound, and utter It all reaches my ears
I can hear all your shouts, cries, and worries All your pain and all your misery The screaming, the agony and all of the suffering All I can do is sit here and listen Never a savior Forever a bystander
I wish my eardrums would explode From the sheer intensity of your wails My head is full of thoughts that aren't mine And the threatening promises of tomorrow If my life is to be defined by inaction Please bless me with the mercy of silence

Inspired by the prompt "dream", this is a moodboard based around the most reoccurring images I've noticed throughout my own dreams. .....I'm not sure if this is even coherent or pretty, but I tried.

This is a poem called "Wasteland", inspired by the prompt "frozen".
Alone, I roam this frozen wasteland A hopeless trek since the day I was born A child marked with frostbite Searching desperately for a flame
I came into this world parched For all the rivers and lakes are forever solid Warmth is nothing but a word A stranger to me, and something I'll never touch
My hands are frozen to the bone The chill is burrowed deep within my veins I can feel it's piercing bite inside my blood A frigid existence dominated by pain
How much longer can I go? I don't pretend to know I'm hoping that when I drop dead Heaven will be there to bask me in an eternal glow

I made a playlist inspired by the prompt "blue". I originally wanted to make this for "long nights" or "music", but I ended up being busy on those days. Anyway, I made a playlist based on how the color makes me feel. It's meant to have the overall vibe of being awake at 3 AM. Everything's quiet, it's dark outside, and you're feeling melancholic and self-reflective.
Maybe my experiences aren't universal, but it's a vibe I'm very familiar with.

This is a poem called "Sleepyhead", inspired by the prompt "sleep"
Where do I go when I sleep? By that, I don't mean my body Where do my thoughts, my personality go? The layers and mechanisms that make up myself?
Do I bury myself beneath the brain's gray matter? Saving my consciousness for whatever tomorrow brings? Do I disappear into thin air? And become reborn upon my waking? Do I even know if I'm asleep?
If so, what are dreams? A story to keep my brain dormant? Or is it true that dreams are echos of the mind? A reflection of projected reality Desires and dread being let out to breathe
I've heard before that sleep is practice for death A preparation for encompassing non-existence Maybe when death arrives for me I can keep my mind safe in a beautiful box Hidden and sacred, while the body fades to dust

Here's my second (and last) thing for this! Made for the prompt New Years Eve is a 3k fic about Ankle & Ivy celebrating that holiday! (Found here) I was way busier than I thought I would be this month, wow! Maybe I'll make another thing like this for a time where I have more free time to participate! XD mrsmoe It's been really nice seeing all the cool mood boards (especially those that features night snow! What a cool look!) and lovely poems you've created for this!! Once I get some more free time on my hand, I'll give the playlists a try as well! Thanks so much for participating and happy new years eve!
